It provides a broad spectrum of enzymes of plant origin: bromelain, papain, lipase, amylase, pepsin, proteases and glucoamylase. A relevant amount of lactase has been added to improve lactose digestion in people with lactose digestion problems. It also provides betaine HCl and chloride which contributes to the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach and thus to normal digestion.
